What To Watch 4/25- 4/27

The Stanley Cup Playoffs are in full effect. While some series will come to an end sooner rather than later the Chicago Blackhawks vs St. Louis Blues is one not to be missed. Oh yeah, the NBA is in playoff season too.

Friday April 25th

Chicago Blackhawks @ St Louis Blues – 5pm NBCSN: This will go down as the best series of the first round and maybe one of the best in Playoff history.

Houston Rockets @ Portland TrailBlazers – 7:30pm ESPN: Let’s face it, Houston needs this game.

 

Saturday April 26th

Columbus Bluejackets @ Pittsburgh Penguins – 4pm NBCSN: This series on paper should be one sided. Guess that’s why the play the games.

Oklahoma City Thunder @ Memphis Grizzles – 6:30pm ESPN: What is it about the Grizz and the playoffs? They always seem to scare the daylights at of their opponent.

UFC 172: Jones vs Teixeira – 7pm PPV: Jon Jones is the most dominate Light Heavyweight in UFC history. Glover Teixeira hasn’t loss since 2005. Something has to give.

Sunday April 27th

Liverpool vs Chelsea  – 6am NBCSN: Pretty much for all the marbles in the Premier League. Liverpool wins, it’s title time for the Reds.

Los Angeles Clippers @ Golden State Warriors – 12:30pm ABC: Could be the best series out west.

St Louis Blues @ Chicago Blackhawks  – Noon NBC: Twice in one weekend? Dude!

What to Watch Sat. 4/12 -Sun. 4/13

It’s the Masters. Even if you do not like golf you should watch this over the weekend just to see how a course can destroy a professional and of course for the drama that is sure to ensue.

Also, the NBA and NHL playoffs start next week so this is your last chance to watch everything else.

Saturday April 12th

The Masters – Noon CBS: Like we said, it’s The Masters.

Boston Red Sox @ New York Yankees – 10am FS1:  Yes it’s early in the baseball season but it’s one of the best rivalries in all of sports.

Seattle Sounders @ FC Dallas – 5:30pm MLS Live: Two of the top teams in the league. Should be interesting.

Sunday April 13th

Liverpool vs Manchester City – 5:40am NBCSN: Liverpool is in the drivers seat as far as a Premier League title goes. That being said, it’s not locked up yet and they still need three points against a very good Man City team.

The Masters – 11am CBS: Like we said, it’s The Masters.

Friday April 4th

Oklahoma City Thunder @ Houston Rockets – 6:30pm ESPN: Because Kevin Durant is on a tear and it will be worth watching.

Saturday April 5th

Philadelphia Flyers @ Boston Bruins – 10am NHLN: The Flyers of trying to hold onto that last playoff spot and the Bruins would probably not like to see them in the playoffs.

Seattle Sounders @ Portland Timbers  – Noon NBCSN: It’s the first match up of the year for these rivals. Seattle is off on a good foot while Portland has yet to back three points in this young MLS campaign.

UCONN vs Florida – 3pm CBS: The Final Four is finally here and the upstart but traditional power UCONN gets the task of knocking off one of the top teams in the tournament in the Florida Gators.

Real Salt Lake @ Sporting KC – 5:30pm MLS Live: RSL returns to the scene of the crime so to speak. This time without Jason Kreis at the the helm. Will they get some sort of revenge in Blue Hell?

Wisconsin vs Kentucky – 5:45pm(ish) CBS: The second half of the Final Four will be set in what should be the better of the two games.

Sunday April 6th

Everton vs Arsenal – 5:30am NBCSN: Everton is still in the hunt for a spot in European football next year. The Gunners have got to regroup and put together some consistency if they want to hold onto their Champions League spot.

LA Galaxy @ Chivas USA – Noon UNIMAS: Chivas has five points already this season while LA only has one. What?

San Francisco Giants @ Los Angeles Dodgers – 5pm ESPN: Sunday night baseball and a battle between two arch rivals. Boom!
