It’s a debate as to which professional sport is the toughest. All have physical, mental and environmental demands however no other sport has the possibility of a shark attack during it’s competition.

Professional surfer Mick Fanning was attacked by a shark during a competition in South Africa. He escaped with no physical injuries and the rest of the competition was cancelled.

Cuba and the United States may be on speaking terms again but that hasn’t prevented four players from the Cuban Men’s National Team from defecting during the Gold Cup. The latest happened on Friday, the day before it’s match against the United States in which they lost 6-0.

You would think that defections like this would be coming to end with relations between the two countries opening up again. It appears that life in America still provides more opportunity than life in Cuba.

The NFL is being sued again. While this doesn’t come as a surprise to many the reason for the lawsuit may be, NFL Sunday Ticket. A class action lawsuit has been filed claiming that NFL Sunday Ticket is violating two provisions of the Sherman Antitrust Act.

This lawsuit comes on the heels of another lawsuit filed by fans back in June. Add that to the lawsuits around concussions and the NFLs legal department is earning every bit of their salaries.
