All times are Pacific.
Friday September 4th
USMNT vs Peru – 4pm FS1: It’s a friendly but we’ll be into Qualifiers before you know it.
Pittsburgh Pirates at St Louis Cardinals – 5:15pm MLBN: Pirates are probably not going to catch the Cards in the NL Central but that doesn’t mean that they won’t be a Wild Card team.
Washington at Boise St – 7:15pm ESPN: Washington Head Coach Chris Pederson goes back to Bosie where he had a whole lot of success.
Texas Rangers at LA Angels – 7pm MLB.TV: Angels are a few games back of Texas for that final Wild Card spot in the American League.
Saturday September 5th
Louisville vs Auburn (Game in Atlanta) – 12:30pm CBS: Louisville is going to be good but Auburn is going to be better. Also get your first look at Auburn QB Jeremy Johnson who some are comparing to Cam Newton.
BYU at Nebraska – 12:30pm ABC: This will probably be the best game of the weekend. Nebraska breaks in a new coach and a new system. Meanwhile BYU’s QB Taysom Hill returns…again.
Bowling Green vs Tennessee (Game in Nashville)- 1pm SECN: Tennessee is the dark-horse team in the SEC East but Bowling Green is the favorite to win the MAC East. Upset alert.
Arizona State vs Texas A&M – 4pm ESPN: Game is in Houston so it’s essentially a home game for the Aggies. The Sun Devils are a dark-horse pick to be one of the teams in the playoff at the end of the year.
Eastern Washington at Oregon – 5pm PAC12N: Ok, Eastern Washington’s former QB for the last three years is now the starter at Oregon. Storyline anyone?
UFC 191 – 7pm PPV: Flyweight title rematch as Demetrious Johnson takes on John Dodson. Johnson is one, if not THE, most underrated champion in the UFC. Dodson has one punch knockout power so it should be a good time.
Sunday September 6th
Purdue at Marshall – Noon FS1: You have been almost nine full months without College Football. Take in all you can.
Columbus Crew vs FC Dallas – 4pm FS1: Both clubs have 41 points and both are staring at the playoffs.
Pittsburgh Pirates at St Louis Cardinals – 5pm ESPN: Game three and a pivotal one at that.
Monday September 7th
Toronto Argonauts at Hamilton Tiger-Cats – 10am ESPN3: Two teams tied for the lead in the East square off.
Edmonton Eskimos at Calgary Stampeders – 1:30pm ESPN3: The Battle of Alberta takes place in Calgary. Both sit atop of the Western Conference which makes this game a must watch.
Ohio State at Virginia Tech – 5pm ESPN: Defending National Champions begin their quest for a repeat in arguably the toughest place to play in all of College Football.
