What To Watch Fri. 12/4 – Sun. 12/6

All times are Pacific.

Friday December 4th

Bowling Green vs Northern Illinois – 5pm ESPN2: Sixth straight year Northern Illinois has been in the MAC title game and for the past three they have matched up against Bowling Green. Two years ago Bowling Green upset the heavily favored Huskies. This is always a fun game to watch.

San Jose Sharks at Anaheim Ducks – 7pm NHL Gamecenter: Nor Cal vs So Cal as the Sharks head to Anaheim.

Oregon at UNLV – 8pm ESPN2: The #15 Ducks head to Sin City to take on the 6-1 Rebels.

Saturday December 5th

Temple at Houston – 9am ABC: The AAC Championship game. Two really good teams whose head coaches became hot commodities.

Southern Miss at Western Kentucky – 9am ESPN2: The Conference USA title game.

Pittsburgh Penguins at LA Kings – 1pm NHL Gamecenter: Sid and the Pens go to LA to take on the Pacific leading Kings.

Nashville Predators at Detroit Red Wings – 4pm NHLN: Both teams have 30 points and don’t meet that often.

Golden State Warriors at Toronto Raptors – 2pm NBA League Pass: The Warriors are still undefeated but the Raptors are first in the Atlantic.

SDSU PumphreyAir Force at San Diego State – 4:30pm ESPN2:  Mountain West title game and features the best name in College Football, Air Force’s defensive back Weston Steelhammer. If that kid isn’t a General someday then there is something wrong with the Air Force promotion system.

USC vs Stanford – 4:45pm ESPN: Stanford has a slim shot of getting into the College Football Playoff but more importantly Stanford beat USC earlier this year 41-31. You know USC wants payback.

Michigan State vs Iowa -5pm FOX: Winner is the Big 10 champ, goes to the College Football Playoff and this game will have Gus Johnson doing the play-by-play. Boom!

North Carolina vs Clemson – 5pm ABC: UNC gets no respect. All they have done is win 11 games in a row and made it to the ACC title game. Well Clemson has won 12 and they site of UNC’s only loss? Charlotte where this game is played.

Sunday December 6th

Seattle Seahawks at Minnesota Vikings – 10am FOX: The Vikings are the pleasant surprise of the NFL season while the Seahawks looks to stay in the playoff hunt.

MLS Cup – Columbus Crew vs Portland Timbers: 1pm ESPN: Couldn’t ask for two better teams to battle it out for the Cup. The Crew are looking for their second Cup in franchise history while the Timbers are looking for their first. If the Timber win it, Portland may riot. Seriously.

Carolina Panthers at New Orleans Saints – 1:25pm FOX: Yeah the Panthers are undefeated and the Saints can’t stop anybody, they are still division rivals and it’s in the Superdome.

Pittsburgh Penguins at Anaheim Ducks – 5pm NHLN: The Pens wrap up their Southern California trip with a visit to the Pond.

Vanderbilt at Baylor – 5pm ESPNU: A top 25 match up on a Sunday? Cool!

Indianapolis Colts at Pittsburgh Steelers – 5:30pm NBC: The Colts are on to their second string quarterback while the Steelers may or may not have Big Ben. Either way it’s a big game in the AFC.
