Friday January 15th

Monmouth at Iona – 4pm ESPNU: Why are you watching this game? First, it is for the lead in the MAAC and second, for this….

Pittsburgh Penguins at Tampa Bay Lightning – 4:30pm NHL Gamecenter: Both teams are looking battling for playoff position. Meaning one team is barley in and one team is two points behind.

Dallas Mavericks at Chicago Bulls -5pm NBA League Pass: Pretty good showdown in the Windy City for a Friday night.

Cleveland Cavaliers at Houston Rockets – 6:30pm ESPN: LeBron James and company vs James Harden and friends.

 

Saturday January 16th

New York Rangers at Philadelphia Flyers – 10am NHL Gamecenter: It’s one of the better rivalries in the NHL.

West Virginia at Oklahoma – 1pm ESPN2: West Virginia already knocked off the #1 team in the country this week….can they take out #2 as well?

Kansas City Chiefs at New England Patriots – 1:30pm CBS: Tom Brady gets some of his weapons back like WR Julian Edleman. Alex Smith and the Chiefs put on a clinic last Saturday against the Texans.

Montreal Canadiens at St Louis Blues – 4pm NHLN: Both teams are looking to keep pace in their respective divisions. Both appear to be solid choices for a playoff run. No, it’s not too early to be talking about that.

Steph CurryGolden State Warriors at Detroit Pistons – 4:30pm NBA League Pass: Steph Curry and Draymond Green lead the Warriors up to the Motor City to take on Reggie Jackson and the Pistons. A hot time in the cold city tonight!

Minnesota Wild at Nashville Predators – 5pm NHL Gamecenter: Big and always entertaining game in the Central division.

Green Bay Packers at Arizona Cardinals – 5:15pm NBC: The Cardinals might be the best team in the playoffs but the Packers would love nothing more than to get some revenge for that one sided beating the Cards gave them earlier this season.

San Diego State at Boise State – 7pm ESPN2: A battle for the lead in the Mountain West.

Dallas Stars at San Jose Sharks – 7:30pm NHL Gamecenter: Big battle in the Western Conference.

 

Sunday January 16th

Liverpool vs Manchester United – 6am NBCSN: Talk about a way to start your Sunday morning!

Stoke City vs Arsenal – 8:15am NBCSN: Stoke City is holding steady towards the top half of the table but Arsenal is sitting on top of it.

Seattle Seahawks at Carolina Panthers – 10am FOX: Can the Panthers exact revenge for last seasons playoff loss or will Russell Wilson and the Seahawks exact revenge for their loss to the Panthers earlier in the regular season.

Florida Panthers at Tampa Bay Lightning – 2pm NHL Gamecenter: The Panthers lead the Atlantic….no I am not joking.

New York Rangers at Washington Capitals – 2pm NHL Gamecenter: Rangers look to keep pace with the Caps in DC.

Peyton Manning BroncosPittsburgh Steelers at Denver Broncos – 1:40pm CBS: Peyton Manning is going to start and Big Ben should play for the Steelers. This game is also available via online stream. Lots of questions to be answered but let’s not forget about the last time the Steelers played the Broncos in Denver during the playoffs….

Miami Heat at Oklahoma City Thunder – 4pm NBA League Pass: Plenty of big names in this one like Durant, Westbrook, Bosh and Wade.

UFC Fight Night – 7pm FS1: Bantamweight title is on the line between champion TJ Dillashaw and former champion Dominick Cruz. Anthony Pettis takes on Eddie Alvarez, Travis Browne vs Matt Mitrione and Ross Pearson vs Francisco Trinaldo.
